The ModaEspaña Confederation is the institutional framework that unites more than 4,500 companies in the industry under the standards of quality, tradition, innovation and design, distinguishing and promoting the entire Spanish value chain, to all corners of the world.
Since 2013, it has represented and defended the interests of the sector, from design and apparel to manufacturing, distribution and sales, ensuring its development and fostering talent through training programs, capacity building and sustainable practices.
Our mission: to share Spanish fashion inside and outside our borders, showing our know-how and commitment. We believe that fashion, more than a means of expression, is a bridge that intertwines our cultural heritage with the future of the industry.
Our vision is to consolidate Spanish fashion as a global benchmark and source of inspiration, leading the transformation towards a more sustainable, inclusive and competitive model in the markets.
PARTICIPATING ENTITIES
The most representative entities of the fashion and textile sector in Spain participate in this project. These include the Spanish Federation of Apparel and Fashion Companies (FEDECON), the Spanish Knitwear Association (AEGP), the Spanish Association of Leather Goods Manufacturers (ASEFMA) and the Association of Fashion Designers of Spain (ACME). Other members are the Business Association of Textile, Accessories and Leather Trade (ACOTEX), the Spanish Fur Association (SFA), and the Business Association of Manufacturers and Wholesalers of Gift Items (REGALO FAMA).
These are joined by the Association of Experts in Fashion Law (AEDM), the Iberian Association of Textile Recycling (ASIRTEX), the Spanish Association of Sustainable Fashion (AMSE), the Spanish Association of Fashion Jewelry Manufacturers (SEBIME), the Spanish Association of Children’s Products (ASEPRI) and the Spanish Association of Manufacturers and Distributors of Sports Products (AFYDAD). This effort is also supported by other regional associations and national federations that contribute to strengthening the sector.
The Moda España Confederation is a large institutional platform created and supported by different institutions of the fashion sector in Spain with the aim of bringing together the entire value chain of fashion in our country.
LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
Welcome to the website of the ModaEspaña Confederation.
More than a decade ago, driven by the firm purpose of uniting and strengthening our industry, this Confederation was born. From the beginning, the vision was clear: to create a common framework that would represent the immense talent and creativity of our companies, designers, manufacturers and distributors, highlighting the unique seal that defines Spanish fashion.
Today, looking back, I feel a mixture of pride and gratitude, because Confederación ModaEspaña is more than an organization, it is the reflection of the tireless effort of thousands of people who give life to this constantly evolving industry.
Behind every design, behind every garment that triumphs inside or outside our borders, there are personal stories, expert hands and dreams come true.
We are more than a sector that generates wealth and employment, we are the voice of our culture and traditions, the best ambassador of our country.
We at the Confederation are also aware of the challenges ahead of us at a time when sustainability and innovation are no longer an option, but a necessity, and our mission is to stand by our companies, help them adapt, grow, innovate… but always taking care of our roots and maintaining our identity.
We believe in a fashion that respects the past, embraces the present and builds
a more responsible and inclusive future.
For all these reasons, as president, but above all as someone who lives the industry from the inside, I invite you to come closer, to get to know us better, to join this collective project that would be nothing without each one of you.
