INTERNATIONAL PROMOTION
THE WORLD AS A LIMIT
The essence of ModaEspaña is to share our tradition in design and production in all cultures and countries, a quality product, under sustainability standards, respectful with the environment and inspiring.
Spanish fashion is at the forefront in all markets, our designers are known and recognized around the world, our production, which combines tradition and innovation, is highly valued and our flexibility and creativity in adapting to new demands, conquers consumers.
All this leads naturally to the internationalization of our companies, which is an opportunity for their development and growth, and from the Confederation our goal is to guide them in every step of the way so that not only this expansion to new markets takes place, but also so that confidence and solidity are the basis of their development.
In this context, Confederación ModaEspaña has the support of the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX) and other entities to jointly promote the internationalization of companies.
The search for financial support and a careful selection of international fairs are the key to being able to make the leap to other markets with confidence. PITTI UOMO in Florence, WHO’S NEXT in Paris and PURE LONDON in the United Kingdom, and many others, are examples of the calendar of this past 2024, trade fairs that have been authentic platforms of connection where Spanish firms have shown their essence, have made key contacts and have positioned themselves as leaders in global markets.
One of the bases for the success of internationalization is preparation, which is why the Confederation regularly organizes practical workshops, in which experts and companies together offer the keys and experience to successfully face the challenge of entering new markets. Relevant topics such as design protection, strategies to optimize new technologies or export processes are the basis of these meetings.
Another of the activities that the ModaEspaña Confederation organizes are direct trade missions, helping brands to open doors to international markets. Through a full agenda with companies and different entities such as Chambers of Commerce, the way is shown and the main actors are put in contact to promote connections between buyers and distributors, key to building lasting business relationships.
The Confederation as an entity that unites Spanish fashion is aware of the potential of the country’s business fabric, a talent that is in demand outside our borders and enables the development of our firms.
With the experience of knowing the aspects to be taken into account to position themselves as international references, it makes these initiatives available so that companies have the world as their limit.
