Labeling Campaign
Moda España aims to group and distinguish in the market those Spanish fashion products, allowing consumers to identify these products accurately with the implementation of a campaign of approved labels as a starting point for consumers to identify the origin of Spanish fashion products accurately.
The FABRICA NACIONAL DE MONEDA Y TIMBRE (FNMT) is in charge of manufacturing the labels, which, in addition to being numbered, incorporate other security elements.
We are living in a time of change, the end of offshoring and the beginning of a new era favorable to the growth of the fashion industry in Europe. Spain has an optimal combination of factors: raw materials and skilled labor. It is necessary to promote mechanisms to encourage the relocation of the fashion sector as a strong, dynamic and wealth-creating industry, from the point of view of all agents.
What is the label
The first step is to conduct an audit of the origin of the garments and categories. After validating the results of the survey, an agreement was reached with the stakeholders to create two levels. Two recognitions are required: one recognizing the Spanish design of the brand and the other recognizing the total manufacture of the product in Spain.
Designed in Spain. Those products that contribute to strengthening the fashion industry in Spain through different areas (except manufacturing).
Made in Spain. Products that, in addition to contributing to strengthening the fashion industry in Spain through different areas, are manufactured entirely within the national territory.
Each product will be identified according to the level to which it corresponds, which implies the need to create two labels.
Modaespaña Brand Committee
The General Assembly of the CONFEDERACION MODA ESPAÑA approved the formation of a COMMITTEE FOR THE MODA ESPAÑA BRAND, whose primary purpose will be the study and approval of applications for membership in the “MÑ MODAESPAÑA” Plan, depending on whether the applicant company meets the necessary requirements for active participation in it. Formed by entrepreneurs and non-entrepreneurial technicians of recognized prestige in the FASHION sector and knowledgeable of the sector.
To join the “MÑ Moda España” labeling campaign, it is necessary to fill in all the information requested in the form, which must be signed on all its pages, and send it by e-mail to COMITÉ DE MARCA MÑ MODAESPAÑA.
