ModaEspaña (Confederación de empresas de la Moda de España) was created in 2013 and is now led by Ángel Asensio. Its main objective is bringing together all the value chain of the fashion in Spain.
In this confederation take part the most representative organisations of the fashion industry: La Federación Española de Empresas de la Confección (FEDECON), la Agrupación Española del Género de Punto (AEGP), la Asociación Española de Fabricantes de Marroquinería (ASEFMA), junto con la Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España (ACME), la Asociación Empresarial del Comercio Textil, Complementos y Piel (ACOTEX) la Asociacion Española de la Peletería (SFA), la Asociación Empresarial de Fabricantes y Comerciantes Mayoristas de Artículos de Regalo (REGALO FAMA), la Asociación de Expertos en Derecho de la Moda (AEDM), la Asociación Ibérica de Reciclajes Textiles (ASIRTEX)y la Asociación de Moda Sostenible de España (AMSE), and also with the support of other regional associations and national federations.
ModaEspaña is a huge institutional platform created and supported by many different Spanish fashion industries and goes from the design and manufacture, to distribution and sale.
Our philosophy is fashion as a communication way. For us fashion is a game, fun, security, a job, art… there is a different meaning for each person and it depends on their perspective. The perfect definition to the Spanish fashion is Soul, because Spanish fashion has its own expression, capacity and diversity. The main objective of ModaEspaña is enhancing the values of the Spanish fashion.
